A key factor in its popularity is the development of a special high-quality yeast. In 1916, the company applied its expertise in sake-making to produce Miso, under the trademark Miko-chan. The introduction of freeze-dried technology in 1968 led to the successful development of new, popular products. Our aim is to globalize this traditional, healthy Japanese food in a convenient way. What is Miso? Miso is a nutritious Japanese seasoning made from fermented soybeans, salt, and Koji. It comes in various forms: Miso paste and Instant Miso soups. Miso paste is made from fermented soybeans, salt, and Koji, and can be used as a soup base, marinating sauce, salad dressing, or dipping sauce. Instant Miso Soup is available in powder and block forms, each containing tofu, seaweed, and garnish.
